Not one tree was cut during the construction process of the village 26 years ago! Because the design teams built the village around the vegetation of the property to create a more natural community environment, children enjoy the shade and tranquility of palms, mango trees, and the large banyan tree in the center of the grounds. Sign boards on each species of tree teach the community about their surroundings, and encourage a respect for the area's natural heritage.
